Job Description
Senior Contract Manager
Location: Evesham, Worcestershire (with travel to other sites)
Contract: Permanent, full-time (37 hours per week)
Salary: Up to £61,000 per annum
Rooftop Housing Group is looking for an experienced Senior Contract Manager to oversee the performance, quality and commercial delivery of our main repairs and maintenance contract. This role plays a key part in ensuring our homes are safe, compliant, cost-effective and delivering positive outcomes for residents.
As a collaborative leader, you will manage the full lifecycle of repairs, asset investment and specialist works contracts. You’ll work closely with colleagues and contractors to monitor performance, ensure data accuracy, support good decision-making, and embed a consistent contract management framework across the organisation.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee repairs, maintenance and specialist works contracts from planning through to delivery
- Monitor performance against KPIs and SLAs, ensuring continuous improvement
- Build positive relationships with internal teams and external partners
- Lead performance and review meetings
- Support procurement activities and commercial decision-making
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, contract law and relevant regulations
- Contribute to high-quality services and great resident experiences
We’re looking for someone who can bring a blend of technical knowledge, collaborative leadership and sound judgement. You will have:
- A degree or professional qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Facilities Management or a related field
- Experience managing large-scale repairs or maintenance contracts
- Understanding of contract law, compliance, health & safety and building regulations
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Confidence in analysing data and managing financial aspects of contracts
- A practical and solutions-focused approach to managing challenges
The following are desirable but not essential:
- Experience in the housing or main contracting sector
- Professional memberships such as RICS or CIOB
- Project management qualifications
