Help make a real difference in our customers’ lives

We’re looking for someone passionate about helping customers get the support they need. In this role, you’ll guide people through their welfare benefit entitlements, help them budget, reduce rent arrears, and connect them with specialist services.

You’ll speak with customers by phone, text, online, or face-to-face, carrying out benefit assessments and supporting applications, revisions, and appeals. You’ll also work closely with our Income Collection team to tackle affordability issues and prioritise debts, referring cases to debt advisers or internal support where needed.

If you’re great at solving complex problems, can confidently present cases to tribunals or other bodies, and want to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.

About you

We’re looking for someone who loves helping people find their feet financially. If you understand welfare benefits, know how to guide someone through an appeal, and can make tricky money matters feel less daunting, please contact us.

You’ll be the kind of person who listens with empathy, asks the right questions, and quickly earns people’s trust. You’ll also enjoy working with other organisations to get customers the best possible support.

A Level 3 Advice and Guidance qualification is a plus, but not essential as your experience and passion matter most.

You’ll need a full driving licence and a business-insured vehicle to get out and about.
