About the role
As a Sales Consultant, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of our Extra Care and shared ownership property sales programme. You'll be the first point of contact for prospective purchasers, maintaining strong communication to ensure a positive customer experience from initial enquiry through to completion.
Working closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager, you'll help drive the sales process, manage key administrative tasks, maintain accurate records, and liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, including estate agents, solicitors, and surveyors. You’ll also contribute to marketing activity by keeping websites and social media channels updated, supporting launches of new developments, and promoting positive customer stories.
Your focus will be on maximising completions while ensuring purchases remain affordable and in line with policy. This is a varied role that combines customer service, sales, marketing, and administration – perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, staying organised, and making a real impact in the housing sector.
About you
The ideal individual will be an organised, customer-focused professional with experience in property sales and a strong understanding of the sales process. Whether working with first-time buyers, older residents, or external partners, you communicate clearly and confidently and know how to keep things moving smoothly from enquiry to exchange.
You’ll bring strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and a good grasp of digital platforms such as websites and social media. You’re comfortable working to targets, juggling multiple deadlines, and thrive in a role where no two days are the same.
Ideally, you’ll have experience working within housing or shared ownership schemes, but more importantly, you're a team player who shares our values: working together, making things better, and doing the right thing. You’ll be willing to work occasional evenings or weekends when required, and you’ll need a valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
