Insurance & Compliance Officer

Location: Evesham, with travel to other sites as required

£30,201 per annum, 37 hours per week

 

Are you organised, analytical and ready to make a real impact? We’re looking for an Insurance and Compliance Officer to join our Governance and Assurance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a key role supporting the delivery of risk, assurance, compliance, and insurance activities across the Group.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coordinating insurance claims handling, liaising with internal colleagues and external insurers to ensure efficient, customer-focused resolution.
  • Supporting the production of compliance reports for the Executive Team, Audit & Risk Committee, and Board.
  • Assisting in preparing risk and insurance reports and maintaining accurate risk register and fraud data.
  • Supporting internal audit coordination, business continuity planning and data integrity across assurance systems.
  • Administering customer satisfaction surveys and supporting project tasks as needed.

 

What we’re looking for:

Essential:

  • A Levels (or equivalent) and willingness to work towards further qualifications.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong IT literacy, especially in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage workloads to tight timescales and build strong working relationships.
  • A customer-focused approach, with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within a Housing Association.
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and/or compliance in regulated sectors.
  • Understanding of the role of Housing Associations.
